We, the editors of FEAST Literary Journal, would like to sincerely thank each writer who has been generous enough to contribute their poems and craft essays, and those who are considering doing so. However, due to a series of unforseen circumstances, we are compelled to put publication indefinitely on hold at this time.
It causes us great distress to consider the unfulfilled potential of our beloved endeavor. We humbly ask and fervently hope that submitters will choose to support us when we find ourselves back on our feet at some point in the near future. The impediments appear to be relatively temporary, and our resolve to bring this dream to fruition remains unwaveringly present inside us.
All submitted work is hereby released.
I drank at every vine.
The last was like the first.
I came upon no wine
So wonderful as thirst.
I gnawed at every root.
I ate of every plant.
I came upon no fruit
So wonderful as want.
Feed the grape and bean
To the vintner and monger:
I will lie down lean
With my thirst and my hunger.
- Edna St. Vincent Millay
